Now you can essentially “paint” your composites in the factory with a thoroughly tested, easy-to-clean coating that resists fading, staining, scratching, and heat retention and can be repainted or stained by the homeowner. This revolutionary new technology addresses two major issues – the reasons composite coatings have not worked in the past.

How It Works

The process is simple.

A reactive gas treatment, known as fluoro-oxidation, modifies the surface of the composite to allow permanent adhesion of a coating.
A UV curable coating is then applied using a vacuum coater and cured using UV lamps.

Unlike latex coatings which require extensive time, energy, and floor space to dry and cure, our UV coatings completely dry and cure in seconds, without blocking for immediately handling and stacking. Taking up a small footprint, this robust-low-cost operation can be easily added to your existing production line or performed off-site.

Very small quantities (0.2) grams of reactive gas are used
All process gases are neutralized with absolutely no chemical emissions
Performance at less than atmospheric pressure eliminates possibility of leaks
No accident or gas release in the history of this type of technology application
UV curable coatings are 100% paint solids
Zero volatile organic content (VOCs) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs)
